Chehalem Valley Food and Wine Showcase
Nestled in the heart of Oregon’s famed Willamette Valley, the Chehalem Valley—anchored by the charming town of Newberg—is a hidden gem for wine and food lovers. This lush, rolling region is renowned for its world-class Pinot Noir, with dozens of boutique wineries and estate vineyards producing elegant, terroir-driven wines that rival those from Burgundy.
The wine scene here is deeply rooted in sustainability and craftsmanship, with family-owned wineries offering intimate tasting experiences, often hosted by the winemakers themselves. The valley’s diverse microclimates and soils make it a haven not only for Pinot Noir, but also for Chardonnay, Riesling, and Gamay.
But it’s not just about the wine. The Chehalem Valley is quickly gaining recognition for its vibrant culinary landscape. From rustic farm-to-table restaurants and seasonal food carts to award-winning fine dining, the area showcases the region’s agricultural bounty—think heirloom vegetables, artisan cheeses, wild mushrooms, and pasture-raised meats. Local chefs collaborate closely with farmers, foragers, and cheesemakers to craft menus that highlight the flavors of the valley with freshness and flair.
Together, Newberg and the surrounding Chehalem Valley offer an unforgettable immersion into Oregon’s wine country, where every meal and glass tells the story of the land.
The Chehalem Valley Food & Wine Showcase is designed to deliver an engaging blend of education and exposure, connecting attendees with some of the finest offerings in specialty food and wine.
