The inaugural Chehalem Valley Food & Wine Showcase in 2025 marked the beginning of something truly special for Oregon’s specialty food and beverage community. Bringing together producers, retailers, wholesalers, and passionate food and wine lovers, the event showcased hundreds of products spanning artisan cheese, cured meats, chocolate, nuts, Mediterranean specialty goods, oils, wine, cider, spirits, beer, and more. With 300 tickets sold and more than 350 total participants involved—including vendors, educators, and attendees—the Showcase created an energetic, collaborative atmosphere where meaningful connections happened.

Education was a cornerstone of the event. Attendees enjoyed two wine & cheese pairing classes and one cider & cheese pairing class, welcoming a total of 60 guests eager to deepen their knowledge and appreciation of thoughtful pairings. Whether discovering new products, learning directly from experts, or forming new business relationships, the experience delivered value at every level.

The Showcase is proudly rooted in the Chehalem Valley, nestled in Oregon’s renowned Willamette Valley—a region recently named the #1 wine destination in the world. While the Willamette Valley accounts for less than half of one percent of global wine production, it consistently earns an outsized presence on the world’s most influential wine lists. That recognition reflects the care, collaboration, and shared commitment to quality that defines the region.

Anchored by the charming town of Newberg, the Chehalem Valley is more than a wine destination—it’s a rising culinary hub. From farm-to-table restaurants and seasonal food carts to award-winning fine dining, local chefs work hand-in-hand with farmers, foragers, and cheesemakers to showcase the valley’s agricultural bounty with creativity and flair.

The Chehalem Valley Food & Wine Showcase is designed to highlight this spirit—offering a dynamic blend of education, exposure, and connection, and introducing attendees to some of the finest offerings in specialty food, wine, cider, beer, and spirits.

Looking Ahead to 2026

The 2nd Annual Chehalem Valley Food & Wine Showcase will take place on
Saturday, November 7, 2026, returning to the Ballroom at the Chehalem Cultural Center in Newberg.

Plans are underway to make the 2026 event even more engaging and impactful for both vendors and attendees, with exciting enhancements to be announced. Vendor spaces and attendee tickets will be limited, so early interest is encouraged.
